About Us
Created in 2012, S&M Acres Sanctuary Ranch started out as a privately funded ranch with the simple goal of giving equine and farm animals a safe place to land. In 2024, we officially became a nonprofit to expand our original goal as well as offer public programs and events to support the needs of our community.
Equine & Farm Animals Rescues
Over 1001 Equine and Farm Animals have found their way to our Sanctuary through our dedicated rescue efforts.
Community Engagement
We love engaging with our local community! You can find us around Susanville at local events. We offer specials programs at the ranch like our Horsemanship 101 Program that is free for Veterans and First Responders thanks to our partnership with Warriors Hope Ranch. We hold fun events at the ranch such as Adoption Days and Family Fun Days. Check out our calendar for future dates and times!
